A trio of site managers at Loughborough-based William Davis
Homes has again been successful in achieving the coveted Pride in
the Job Quality Awards run by the National House Building Council
(NHBC).
The awards, which are assessed over a 12 month period including
spot checks on the running of a site, are presented to those site
managers that achieve consistently high standards across 38 areas
of management, which include being tested on technical knowledge of
the building process and quality control.
Tony Armson, who manages the Cawston Fields development in
Rugby, wins his 8th Quality Award, following on from his 2008
success as a UK Supreme Award Winner. Completing the trio is Martin
Bottomley, in charge of the Morledge development at Matlock and
Russell Pitman, site manager at Grange Park in Loughborough, both
also previous Quality Award winners.
Guy Higgins, managing director, William Davis Homes said: "I am
delighted that these site managers have been recognised by the
industry for their high levels of commitment, leadership,
enthusiasm and the consistency of building standards that they
deliver."
All three site managers will now automatically go forward to the
Regional Competition.
