discussing the benefits of the manufacturer's
environmentally-friendly BlueEFFICIENCY models with local company
car drivers
Company car drivers who are searching for a prestigious vehicle
that is both affordable and environmentally compatible need look no
further than the expanding range of BlueEFFICIENCY models at
Mercedes-Benz of Oxford.
The Oxford Motor Park retailer has just welcomed a host of new
additions to the advanced and frugal line up of vehicles, which
work to deliver impressive fuel economy and low emissions thanks to
the use of advanced technology and energy-saving measures.
A-Class and B-Class BlueEFFICIENCY models are amongst the most
efficient in their segments, but as Dawn Smith, Corporate Sales
Executive, explains, it is the latest C-Class and new E-Class
versions that will really strike a chord with the cost-conscious
business user.
"Mercedes-Benz have always been popular with company drivers for
their exceptional whole life costs and high residual values, but
the new C-Class and E-Class BlueEFFICIENCY models make these
executive cars even more appealing thanks to their superb fuel
economy and tax-friendly emissions," said Dawn.
"For example, the new entry level C 220 CDI Saloon in manual
form returns 58.9mpg on the combined fuel economy cycle, whilst the
SE version of the Saloon achieves 'best in class' CO2 emissions of
just 127g/km. This 29g/km improvement over the previous, equivalent
model places the car and its Estate cousin, which emits 130g/km of
CO2, in the 18 per cent tax bracket."
Launched in June, all new E-Class, aside from the E 500, benefit
from BlueEFFICIENCY measures too. As a result, purchasers of diesel
and petrol versions would be able to enjoy the satisfying
combination of driving pleasure and tax savings.
"Diesel E-Class produce as little as 139g/km CO2, but the latest
E 200 CGI and E 250 CGI petrol models really illustrate the blend
of strong performance and low emissions too," added Dawn. As
although both boast a punchy, 1.8-litre turbocharged engine linked
to a five-speed automatic transmission, they produce only 177g/km
and 179g/km CO2 respectively."
All BlueEFFICIENCY models are available to test drive at
Mercedes-Benz of Oxford and Dawn is also able to offer local
companies invaluable advice on how best to fund their vehicles
during these challenging times.
Business users who would like to experience the Mercedes-Benz
BlueEFFICIENCY range of vehicles and discuss their individual
company car requirements, are invited to contact Dawn on 01865
