Solihull prime commercial refurbishment offers blue chip suites

The first tenants have been signed up at a top grade office building in Solihull that has benefited from a £2.4 million makeover.

Chartered surveyors Bigwood say that Cranmore Place off Widney Lane offers the best value for money in Grade A space on the market in the borough.

Financial adviser Foster Denovo has signed a five-year commercial lease to secure the 3,751 sq ft suite five at Cranmore Place in a deal arranged by Bigwood.

The other tenant is Ruukki (UK), a Finnish company that provide metal-based products in the construction and engineering industries. It operates in 22 countries and employs over 12,000 people worldwide.

There are 10 suites remaining in the 39,742 sq ft three-storey building, ranging from 1,500 sq ft to 5,484 sq ft.

Bigwood director Ian Tudor said: "There is nothing to touch Cranmore Place in terms of value for money on the market in the Solihull area.

"Cranmore Place is offered at rentals of around £15 per square foot for high quality space with a five star reception area and landscaped grounds.

"It has an attractive foyer and generous reception area for communal use, is fully carpeted and has two passenger lifts.

"It also has good car parking and excellent access to the motorway network just a few minutes away.

"We anticipate strong demand for the remaining suites."
