New niche jeweller for Lincoln

A new niche jeweller specialising in quality branded silver products will be coming to Lincoln High Street in October.

Moore and Scrupps Jewellers who have been successfully operating in Lincolnshire for ten years. have acquired the former Lincoln Chronicle premises at 345 High Street and expect to begin trading as Faze Four jewellers in early October.

"We had been trying to secure this site for almost a year and are looking forward to bringing our light, modern branded silverware to the city," said partner John Moore.

The business will create up to 10 full and part-time jobs and will be open 7 days a week. Mandy Smith, presently the Bourne manager, will be the new Lincoln Manager

"We are delighted to welcome Moore and Scrupps jewellers to this busy prime High Street at junction of High Street and Tentercroft Street opposite the prestigious St Marks retail development and Debenhams.and wish them and Faze Four every success in the future," said Matt Johnson of Hodgson Elkington, chartered surveyors who handled the letting.

John Moore and Gary Scrupps established the first business in 1998 at  3 Southgate, Sleaford, where there has been a Jewellers since the 1700s.

John Moore is based at the Sleaford branch and has amassed over thirty years experience within the jewellery trade.

In 2002, Moore and Scrupps opened a second branch in Newark, which is managed by John's wife Gill, which in turn was followed by the opening of a third branch in Bourne, which is now managed by Mandy Smith. Mandy was originally a member of the Sleaford store and was recently voted Pandora Salesperson of the year.

"Our independence allows us to source our products from a wide variety of suppliers, both in the UK and worldwide, ensuring a quality and variety of goods which we believe is difficult to match," said John Moore.

Moore and Scrupps stock a selection of traditional rings and jewellery together with an excellent range of previously owned jewellery and silverware. You will also find the familiar leading names of Royal Crown Derby, Waterford Crystal, Halcyon Days, Border Fine Arts and Dalvey to name but a few, giving customers, an exciting range of gift ideas with a broad price range, according to John Moore.
