The largest employment law team in the Black Country is being
further strengthened with the appointment of a human resources
specialist.
Louise O'Connor joins Higgs & Sons with a wealth of
experience gained at law firms and within corporate environments.
Her previous posts have included Organisational Development
Business Partner at Trident Housing, HR Officer at Pinsent Masons
and Learning and Development specialist at Carillion plc.
At Higgs Louise will support the firm's dedicated HR service
team. The HR service was introduced in 2005 to offer small
businesses support across every aspect of employment law.
Higgs' respected employment department is headed by Tim Jones.
The firm has a large client portfolio both regionally and
nationally and looks after the needs of both small businesses and
large corporate organisations.
Speaking of her move, Louise said: "This is an excellent

achieve even more. In the current economic climate small
businesses need more support than ever before and I'm looking
forward to helping to make a difference. The focus is to
enhance the existing service with specialist HR Support and
practical training and development solutions. The dedicated

Tim Jones has spearheaded the growth of the department since
joining the firm in 2004. He said: "Our role is the make the
life of our clients as easy as possible, to advise them and support
them through the life of their business. Louise will be a great
asset to the team."

with offices in Brierley Hill, Stourbridge and Kingswinford.
