A Mansell project manager is the toast of pupils at a West
Bromwich primary school after organising a six-week soccer
school.
Gavin Ward, project manager on the multi million pound Sandwell
Pathfinder PFI housing project, organised the successful soccer
school in conjunction with Great Barr Harriers FC, of which he is a
member. Nearly 50 pupils from Harvills Hawthorn Primary School in
West Bromwich took part.
At the end of the six-week school youngsters were presented with
medals and certificates donated by the Stourbridge-based Western
region of Mansell.

Partnership Housing division is involved in a major housebuilding
and improvement project as part of the Sandwell Pathfinder PFI
scheme with Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council and
Riverside.
Mansell's work on the Sandwell Pathfinder PFI scheme has
recently won two national silver Considerate Constructors Scheme
awards.
Gavin Ward said, "The youngsters had a great time and displayed
some impressive football skills. This is a good way of putting
something back into the community we work in, and was a great
opportunity for the children to exercise through sport"
