Pupils at a Coventry primary school have been learning about
construction from Mansell staff who are working on a nearby housing
project.
The Stourbridge-based Western region of Mansell organised a
painting competition for pupils at Edgwick Community Primary School
in Foleshill. The school is close to Ribbon Court where Mansell is
building a housing complex for Ashram Housing Association including
50 self-contained apartments and a range of facilities for the over
65s.
The youngsters were asked to paint a picture of what they
thought the final building would look like. The paintings were
judged by Mansell site manager Joe Sutton, Mansell tenant liaison
officer Natasha Smith and Ashram's head of health and social care,
Jean Tompkins. Winners were presented with book tokens donated by
Mansell.
