Pupils at a Redditch primary school have been learning all about
building houses with the help of staff from Mansell who are working
on a nearby environmental homes project.
The Stourbridge-based Western region of Mansell organised a
painting competition for pupils at Matchborough First School in
Matchborough Way, Redditch. The school is near Walton Close where
Mansell has built 19 sustainable timber-framed homes for Redditch
Co-operative Homes.
The youngsters were asked to paint a picture of a house. The
paintings were judged by Mansell site manager Wayne Gwilt and the
chair of Redditch Co-operative Homes, Councillor Bill Hartnett.
Winners were presented with book tokens donated by Mansell.
