Sandeep Singh Sunner and Andrew Griffiths, Senior Quantity Surveyors Wakemans

National property and construction consultancy Wakemans has strengthened its Travelodge pre-construction team with two new appointments. Sandeep Singh Sunner and Andrew Griffiths join as Senior Quantity Surveyors.

Shaun Baugh, key account director for Wakemans' Travelodge team comments: "Sandeep and Andrew bring added expertise and experience and are already proving to be great assets. Our work with Travelodge is expanding as we have a number of different teams dedicated to providing support at all stages of the development, construction and completion process."

Sandeep, 28, has six years experience on a range of commercial projects since graduating from University as a quantity surveyor. Sandeep's duties will involve all pre contract activities related to preparing tender documents and financial planning and management.

Andrew Griffiths, 38, joins the Travelodge team from Davis Langdon LLP where he worked as an Associate for 10 months and was previously an Associate at Capita Symonds for over four years. 

He comments: "I was looking for a more demanding role and was attracted to Wakemans because of their reputation for providing commercial client-focused solutions, which is reflected in the amount of repeat business the company retains."

Wakemans is currently advising Travelodge on the hotel group's £77m investment in twelve new hotels which are to be built in town centre locations throughout the UK.
