Warwickshire based Summersault Communications, the employee,
customer and business communication specialists, has formed a
strategic alliance with Gatehouse, a leading consultancy focusing
on employee communication, engagement and change.
Summersault Communications and Gatehouse will work closely
together to provide current and new clients with a complete
end-to-end solution, ranging from researching the current state,
developing an appropriate strategy or change communication plan,
providing hands-on interim support, through to expert
implementation. Clients will benefit from the additional expertise
brought to the table - enabling them to increase the
effectiveness of their communication programmes and channels and
demonstrate return on investment.
Each company is a widely renowned expert within its field and
together they will be able to offer clients an integrated approach
that combines robust research, sound planning and highly creative
execution. Summersault Communications is an award winning
publishing house producing, writing and editing online and printed
employee and customer magazines, brochures and reports, whereas
Gatehouse' strengths lie in strategy, planning and research,
including conducting communication audits, employee and stakeholder
research, developing plans to support organisational change,
training and development for communicators and line managers and
providing short and medium term interim support.
Gail Franks, Managing Director of Summersault Communications,
commented: "The range of channels and volume of messages that we
receive today is an enormous challenge for all organisations
wanting to communicate effectively with staff or customers. To
maximise engagement organisations need to identify the most
suitable channel and style of communication to match each audience,
not just to plan another 'one-size fits all' newsletter.
"Working with Gatehouse we can ensure we recommend and deliver
the most appropriate solution for our clients, whether it's a
micro-site, an e-zine or a glossy consumer-style magazine. More
importantly, it also enables us to measure the effectiveness of
those solutions, track performance against objectives and provide a
full package of support, providing clients with a full range of
services under one roof."
The companies will work closely together on specific projects
whilst continuing to maintain their independence and
impartiality.
Gatehouse Director Lee Smith added: "During these challenging
times, when companies are under even more pressure to demonstrate
their value internally, defend their budgets and engage with their
employees and stakeholders, the importance of a robust
communications strategy built on a solid, well researched
foundation, is a fundamental requirement for any business."
