A Shropshire-based country estate has seen 75% of its Business
Centre office units filled, despite the economic downturn.
Following its launch in October 2008, the Brynkinalt Business
Centre, has attracted a diverse range of businesses seeking an
alternative to town and city centre offices.
Set within the parkland grounds of the stately Brynkinalt Hall,
the Business Centre provides high quality, modern, flexible and
stylish office space within carefully restored buildings.
Tenants at the Brynkinalt Business Centre include, food
marketing specialists, Levercliffe Associates Ltd, the Bridgehead
Food Partners, the Deer Initiative and Oswestry Tissue Bank.
"A combination of stylish buildings, stunning rural location,
very competitive rents and close proximity to our clients meant
Brynkinalt was the ideal location for us," said Barry Green of
Levercliffe Associates.
The Business Centre, located on the Shropshire/Wales border near
Chirk, comprises 14,500 sq ft of contemporary office space, ranging
in size from 300 sq ft offices to suit a one/two person business to
units offering 5,500 sq ft of office space suitable for larger
companies. The centre is less than two minutes drive from the A5
and within easy reach of the motorway network.
Iain Hill-Trevor, Brynkinalt Managing Director, said: "We are
delighted with the success of the Business Centre. It's great to
see so many businesses thriving in what were once the out buildings
of the Estate, particularly in the current climate."
Brynkinalt is the ancestral home of the Trevor family who have
lived at the site since 924. With the changing role of country
estates, the Trevor family decided to refocus Brynkinalt to ensure
it retains a viable place in the nation's heritage. The original
buildings of the Business Centre were the Laundry, Sawmill and
Dairy of Brynkinalt Hall.
