Receptionist Sally Mitchell has joined the award-winning team at David
Burghardt Vision Care to gain a renewed career focus and more challenges.

Sally from North Hykeham joined the Nettleham-based practice in July and
will work alongside optical assistant Rosemary Rudeforth.

Previously Sally worked for five years as a receptionist at Julian Gunn Contact Lenses and Vision Care @No8 in the Bailgate. She has also worked for the Post Office in a customer service role. 

Although Sally is looking forward to continuing to work as a receptionist, she is also keen to progress her computing skills and diversify her role by learning how to dispense spectacles and advise customers on available frames. 

Sally said: "I was looking for a new work environment where I could develop my skills and begin a new learning curve.

"I know the team well at the practice and I'm looking forward working with them to maintain an excellent, professional and friendly service to customers."

David Burghardt, the owner of David Burghardt Vision Care, met Sally at Vision Care @No8 where he practiced with Julian Gunn until recently. 

"Sally is very keen to learn new things and we're delighted to have her on board as our newest recruit," said David.  

"I hope she will settle into her position over the coming months as we gradually introduce more responsibilities into her day-to-day role and help us continue to provide the high-quality services for which we have become renowned."
