Big name retailers are continuing to show strong interest in
units at a new neighbourhood centre in Mansfield, with 90% of the
units either let or under offer.
Developer Henry Boot is close to completing the development at
the centre in Sandlands Way, Forest Town.
Heb, the sole letting agent on the scheme, says that units are
let to a variety of retailers including the Starfish Group,
Kennelpak and Papermoon Day Nursery.
There are nine retail units on the site ranging from 800 sq ft
upwards, as well as a play centre and day nursery - both of which
have been sold to occupiers. The scheme is anchored by KFC and
Marstons, both of whom have been trading for close to 12
months.
Jonathan Emmerson of heb said: "Sandlands Court is directly
opposite a large Asda Superstore and has attracted significant
tenant demand from potential occupiers.
"The scheme will be complete in September and I fully expect it
to be 100% let prior to this date, which is not unsurprising
bearing in mind the quality of the scheme being built by Henry Boot
Developments."
The scheme has planning consent for a variety of uses including
A1, A2, A3 and A5 planning uses.
