After signing an agreement with local retail property developer
Hammerson, to create a new vibrant gastropub called The Almanack in
Leicester 's city centre, multi awarding-winning pub company Peach
has put out a call to action to all local entrepreneurs who are
currently looking for their next challenge.
Peach co-founders, Lee Cash and Hamish Stoddart, today launched
their search for a new joint venture partner to develop the
business and mirror the success of their first Almanack site
located in Kenilworth, Warwickshire, here in Leicester .
"We're looking for a rising star - someone who wants to be the
best in town and work with us to create that place right here at
this cracking site in Leicester." says Peach co-founder Lee Cash.
"Highcross is a really high spec development which throws the
door wide open to a large and vibrant adult leisure scene. It
is a very exciting time to launch a business in a city which is
currently undergoing such dramatic redevelopment.
Highcross has all the right infrastructure including great
access and parking, and the support of a really forward-thinking
developer keen to bring a proven concept like The Almanack to the
area.
"It also ticks all the right boxes for us: a bright modern space
in the best part of town, in an environment that's just waiting for
the arrival of a great local place to eat, drink and socialise with
friends.
What's more, the area offers plenty of scope for all-day dining
as well as a first-rate drinking crowd in the evening, so it really
is ideal for The Almanack's proven through the day concept."
To develop and run the site, Peach is looking for a new joint
venture partner to come on board and work with the company as an
investor partner. Pre-requisites for the role will be solid
operational experience in a profitable restaurant, hotel or pub
environment, along with the drive to create their own successful
business with the backing of a business partner.
"It's a fantastic opportunity for someone with a lot of hands-on
operational experience and flair to run their own business and -
importantly - get a real share in the success they create,"
continues Lee.
"And it won't stop with the one site; we're looking for someone
who can take on two or three great Peach pubs in time and really
build a profitable business as our partner, just like we have done
with a number of partners very successfully before."
With the Leicester site now in the final design stage, Peach
will be looking to open in October of this year. T
he Almanack will focus on great quality seasonal food served
throughout the day in relaxed surroundings. It will have an
80-cover restaurant with additional spaces for eating at the bar,
as well as a private dining room with its own bar for a further 60,
fulfilling a wide range of functions for the people of Leicester
.

The company will also be looking for talented people to help run
the pub when it opens in the autumn, from chefs to bar and waiting
staff.
