Civil and structural engineering firm BSP Consulting is
celebrating a hat trick after being named as an approved supplier
to a third development consortium.
BSP Consulting, which has offices in Nottingham, Derby and
Leicester, has already won approval onto two separate four-year
framework agreements to provide engineering services to the Quantum
Consortium and the Riverside Partnership.
This has allowed BSP to tender on regeneration and housing
schemes that are being carried out in the North West and the East
Midlands.
Now the firm has learnt that it has become one of eight civil
and structural engineering companies to be named on an approved
list of tendering businesses for Longhurst Group, based in Boston,
Lincolnshire.
Longhurst Group is made up of six member companies providing
affordable housing and care, with more than 15,000 homes in around
40 local authorities in the Midlands.
"This is excellent news for BSP Consulting, and we are delighted
that we have been given approval to tender for schemes being
planned by Longhurst Group," said BSP managing director David
Sumner.
"Gaining framework agreements is the first step towards working
with housing developers, and opens doors for us by allowing us to
tender for work. We are proud that BSP Consulting has now been
successfully chosen as an approved supplier on three separate
framework agreements to three different development partnership
groups.
"Working with associations who are building and providing
affordable homes is an attractive area to be working in at the
moment, given the condition of the private housing market."
BSP Consulting, which is this year celebrating its tenth
anniversary, has offices in Oxford Street, Nottingham, Pride Park,
Derby, and De Montfort Street, Leicester. The firm works across the
UK, and is currently involved in schemes in a number of areas
including Scotland, East Anglia and the West Midlands.
