Fraser Brown Solicitors has opened its first dedicated Family
Law Centre, extending its private client services with a strong and
very visible high street presence, encouraging easy access to
advice, consultation and legal aid support.
Also based on Friar Lane, Nottingham, 'Fraser Brown Family Law'
provides new and existing clients with more opportunities to meet
with the Family Law team via flexible, extended opening hours and a
'no appointment necessary' system.
'Fraser Brown Family Law' opens at 8am during the week and on
Mondays operates a late night opening session, until 7pm.
Appointments are also available between 10am and 1pm on
Saturdays, although these must be booked in advance.
Partner and Head of Family Law, Pramila Meghani, explained the
background to the launch of 'Fraser Brown Family Law', "This was an
area that has been under review by Fraser Brown for some time. The
high street locations of our branches at Radcliffe and Bingham are
particularly successful at the moment and feedback tells us that
creating an environment that is more informal, more approachable,
more visible provides reassurance for private clients often at a
time of stress or anxiety.
"We are, in essence, building and extending new services around
client need and in this case what we needed was a centre that
encouraged individuals and families to come and talk to us.
"For the same reasons we open before the normal working day
starts and run late night and weekend hours to fit around client
need. Late night or extended opening hours are something that
clients have come to expect in many areas of their lives," she
said. "They can shop, visit the doctors - why not see their
solicitor?
"Often the very nature of family law issues means people need to
see us at unusual times, to fit around childcare, their work or
their partner's commitments. The new 'Fraser Brown Family Law'
gives people those options."
'Fraser Brown Family Law' can advise on resolving issues in a
traditional manner as well as mediation, Collaborative Practice and
Direct Consultation with Children. Response to the opening has
already made its mark and the firm is now considering other
departments that can offer a high street service.
