A Derbyshire fitness professional has been recognised by a
leading national training body for her cutting edge Fitness Pilates
qualification.
Leading group exercise presenter, Rachel Holmes from Kirk
Langley, has been working to develop her Fitness Pilates NVQ course
for instructors over the past nine years.
To date she has trained more than 2000 qualified instructors and
has now mapped her highly successful course for a level three NVQ
qualification.
Working closely with national educational bodies Active IQ and
the NVQ, Rachel has produced a new level three qualification for
experienced fitness professionals who want to update their existing
industry knowledge.
Fitness Pilates is a modern, research based group fitness class
created for rehabilitation. Fitness Pilates utilises all the
traditional principles of Pilates with a modern, diverse and
updated exercise factor, which provides a controlled
body-conditioning programme.
The qualification has been carefully co-ordinated by Rachel to
provide previously qualified instructors with the latest and most
up-to-date material in the rapidly evolving fitness industry.
Commenting on the new qualification, Rachel said: "As the
popularity of Pilates continues to increase, level three qualified
instructors are in high demand. Fitness Pilates includes all
classical and original aspects of Pilates teaching in addition to
updated elements, progressions and current research."
Rachel, who started her own business at just 18, has trained
more than 2,500 fitness instructors globally.
Over the past two decades, she has taught motivational
strategies and latest fitness techniques to businesses and
individuals through workshops, classes and her Choreography To Go
website.
