Octavian Security, a specialist in the warehousing and logistics
sector, has landed the contracts to provide security services at
two major business parks.
The company has been awarded the work to cover both Magna Park,
in Lutterworth, Leicestershire, and Crick Business Park,
Northamptonshire, both of which are managed by chartered surveyors
Eddisons, on behalf of sustainable logistics provider, Gazeley UK
Limited.
Sukhi Ghuman, chief executive officer at Octavian, commented:
"Octavian is delighted to have been awarded these contracts, a
decision that will further enhance our reputation for being able to
provide first-class security services to this sector.
"One of our stand-out features is that we offer strategic input
on security issues to our clients, which many other firms simply
don't do."
Magna Park is Europe's largest dedicated distribution park, and
is home to companies such as Asda, Lidl, Toyota, Kenwood and BT
covering 500 acres.
At Magna Park, working from within the Management Suite,
Octavian will be assisting with the Management and Services which
are vital to the companies operating there.
At Crick Business Park, home to Butcher's Pet Foods and a number
of logistics companies, Octavian Security will be providing access
and egress control, as well as operating the weighbridges.
Both sites will have Octavian personnel working across a shift
rota system to ensure that days and nights are covered.
Working with Gazeley and other clients, Octavian Security has
wide-ranging experience in the warehousing and logistics sectors,
managing many sites in the Midlands and at Heathrow.
