Schubert, the automated packaging system specialists, have
further strengthened their UK subsidiary with two new appointments
to the sales team.
Peter Gilbert, who has a degree in business studies and German,
has joined the Meriden-based company as sales account manager with
responsibility for an area from the west coast of England to the
Scottish border.
He has worked in the food packaging industry for more than a
decade, previously selling high-end capital equipment for TNA
Europe, Bosch and Reiser.
Peter says he is delighted to be working for "a family-owned
company with a real loyalty to their customers, and for a business
where shorter communication channels mean quicker reaction times to
customers' needs."
Joanne Weate, a business and marketing graduate from Coventry
University, is Schubert's new sales administrator. Her role is to
provide sales and marketing support for the UK and Ireland team, as
well as liaise with colleagues at Schubert's head office in
Germany.
David Maddern, Schubert UK's sales director, commented: "I'm
delighted to welcome Peter and Joanne to the team which is likely
to be expanded again in the near future in line with Schubert's
plans to further build on their successful business in the UK."
