Planning application has been submitted by regional development
agency Advantage West Midlands and global property group Goodman,
to develop the former Jaguar site at Browns Lane in
Coventry.
The application proposes to deliver a mixed-use development on
the 30 hectare site, with a focus on manufacturing to attract new
companies to the area and create employment opportunities,
alongside new housing and public spaces.
Following extensive consultation with the council and local
community, the outline planning application incorporates;
• Manufacturing/distribution - 82,000 sq m of space for
industrial and distribution uses
• Office - 7,000 sq m of high quality office space
• Residential - 172 dwellings, including a proportion of
affordable housing
• Public realm - play area and open spaces
Steve Holland, Head of Asset Management at Advantage West

The Browns Lane proposal complements and supports the long term
strategy for the wider regeneration of the City of Coventry and its
surrounding areas.
Leading planning consultants Pegasus Planning Group has
supported the development of the application, with architects Peter
Haddon & Partners providing master planning.
