A Telford based company is reporting solid signs of business
confidence despite the challenging economic situation, with a
second consecutive month of record new company registrations.
Company Select (UK) Ltd specialises in setting up all types of
limited companies and has seen a significant rise in the number of
companies being formed. "We've never been so busy" explained
Managing Director Yiasmin Freestone. "We've been in business just
under a year and the last few months have seen a huge increase in

that six months ago ."
"I'm not sure what exactly can be credited for the upturn, in a
few cases I know that business owners have used their redundancy
packages to follow their dream and set up their own company, but in

in Halesfield Business Park to accommodate the volume of work and
Yiasmin may well soon have to expand her team. "I'm passionate
about what we do and the service we provide clients, and that seems
to have stood us in great stead as much of our business is coming
from word of mouth referrals and networking" Yiasmin
explained.
"Despite the gloomy economic forecast business people in the
region are showing their confidence by literally registering new
companies in their dozens. It's an exciting time for our business
and theirs, and I'm looking forward to the region reaping the
rewards" she concluded.
Before setting up her own company, Yiasmin worked in finance and
business but actually started her career in the specialist robotics
field, even working on some of the James Bond films and attending
the premieres.
