Pictured above: In the swing: Mansell site manager Dan
Whitehouse and tenant liaison officer Natasha Smith hand the swing
over to three year-old Andrew Vincent and his mum, Diane.
Mansell has handed over the 100th new-build home as part of a
major multi-million pound urban regeneration programme in
Sandwell.
The Partnership Housing division of Mansell's Stourbridge-based
Western Region is carrying out the Sandwell Pathfinder PFI project
work on behalf of Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council and
Riverside.
The 100th new-build house to be completed is that of tenant
Diane Vincent and her three year-old son Andrew of Windsor Road,
West Bromwich. Mansell organised a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the
house, and Andrew Vincent was presented with a garden swing from
Mansell to mark the handover.
Mansell's work on the Sandwell Pathfinder PFI scheme recently
won three national silver Considerate Constructors Scheme
awards.
