Birmingham's legendary Jam House has staged a musical coup by offering thousands of visitors to this year's Taste of Birmingham food festival an all-round package of top live entertainment.

The best in soul, blues, RnB, jazz and folk will be on stage at Cannon Hill Park, Edgbaston from Thursday July 9 - Sunday July 12 thanks to the leading live music and dining venue in St Paul's Square and music sponsor BRMB Radio.

The Red Lemons (Friday afternoon and Saturday afternoon), the Wize Guyz (Friday afternoon and evening, and Saturday afternoon and evening), Up 4 the Downstroke (Saturday evening and Sunday aftenoon), Gino Baptiste Trio (Thursday evening), Ben Drummond (Sunday afternoon) and Urban Intro (Friday afternoon) will mark the Jam House's fourth successive involvement in the annual al fresco food and drink extravaganza.

Taste of Birmingham 2009 features worldwide cuisine from 15 of the Midlands' top restaurants.

John Bunce, Operations Manager for the Jam House's parent company Luminar Leisure, said: "We are delighted to have been chosen to provide all the musical entertainment for what is now a fixture on Birmingham's culinary calendar."

Dave Hodgson, Marketing Director of Marketing Birmingham, organisers of the event, said: "When it comes to live music in Birmingham, the Jam House is without doubt one of the city's best venues. It successfully combines great music, great food and a terrific atmosphere - something visitors can really look forward to at Taste of Birmingham.

"We are delighted that, once again, the Jam House will be able to showcase such a great variety of bands on the music stage."
