Shane Cross, a trainee technologist at Leicester's KPW
Architects, one of the East Midlands leading architectural
practices, has got the X Factor!
Shane, from Market Harborough, who has performed lead vocals in
a Stereophonics tribute band since the millennium, has sailed
through the first round of auditions of ITV1's 'The X Factor'
competition and has been called back to London's O2 Arena to
perform for judges Simon Cowell, Cheryl Cole, Louis Walsh and
Dannii Minogue.
Hopeful to take his musical career to the next level, Shane
exclusively reveals he will be performing his version of 'Wherever
you will go' by The Calling at the audition. "Singing has always
been a passion of mine," he says, "I've enjoyed playing with my
tribute band but when X Factor arose, it was too good an
opportunity to pass up!"
Fingers crossed for the next stage Shane - we'll watch this
