marketing opportunities for London 2012; others will look at web
marketing to international audiences, the role of language and
culture for increased export success, protecting intellectual
property and researching overseas markets.
Market experts for Russia, Brazil and the Middle East will also
be on hand to advise; and there will be ample opportunities
throughout the day to network with exporters and like minded
business people.
The main speaker in the afternoon will be a world authority on
international marketing, Allyson Stewart-Allen, who has been Sky
News Business Report's "Muse of Marketing" and has written many
books on export and trade in overseas markets.
East Midlands International Trade Director, Peter Hogarth,
said: "I strongly urge businesses across the East Midlands
with an interest in exporting to come along to the event. UKTI has
a great deal to offer both small and large companies and we are
keen to share our knowledge of overseas trade.
"If your company is already exporting or you are simply curious
as to whether it is for you, then come along and listen to what we
have to say.
"This event is of particular significance because it will
take place during World Trade Week, an exciting week highlighting
the importance of global trade in creating jobs and growth in the
current economic climate. "
