Communications and events specialists, DRP Group, have been
selected to stage a series of travel industry trade roadshows.
The firm, based in Worcester, has won a contract from field
marketing and events company, The Network, to provide staging,
technical skills and transportation knowledge for the Truly
Independent Professional Travel Organisation (TIPTO) trade
roadshows.
DRP have impressed The Network so much that they have won
business for many other travel trade roadshows, including
Incredible India, Israel Government Tourist Office, the Moroccan
National Tourist Office and Visit USA, to name but a few.
The firm is set to help with two more TIPTO roadshows in June,
and are hoping to win the bid for TIPTO's next run of events in
October.
"The shows have taken our crews all over the United Kingdom and
we have shown great commitment in getting our working relation 'A
class' with The Network," said Russell Perks, operations director
at DRP.
"The Network really gets what we're about as a company and like
how we organise things, such as the way we do our floor plans.
"We also try to have the same crews for each show so they have
that continuity and everyone knows how everybody works and how
things should be done, Russell added."
